Tried to trick me into accepting promotion on behalf of easy life CATALOGUE. Promotion was for fuel vouchers. After going through all the script I told him I wasn't interested. He then got cross and said I'd already agreed to it when I hadn't. I'd only agreed that he had my correct address! Told him to stop lying and to remove me from their list and not call me anymore. I then hung up and blocked the number. It showed it came from Bury St Edmunds.

Came up on my phone with a truecaller ID of "whatsappnumber 2485", so they are clearly trying to hide who they are by calling themselves something that people might have. I don't have Whatsapp on my phone, so no way of receiving calls through the app.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20363008xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, accident claims, boiler schemes, insurance marketing, "you win a voucher.." - wide scope :), pure telemarketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
