someone with an indian accent telling me that my computer had down loaded a virus. I had to switch it on and then she was going to pass me on to her supervisor. very dodgy

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.

Pushy salesman, can reduce my debt by 80%, told him 3 times I wasn t interested....ended up hanging up.

Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!

Called and hung up as soon as I answered. I am registered with the TPS so will be reporting them for breaching that.

He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

Called knew all my details and just asked questions about what paper I read. Brand of car. Internet gas and electric suppliers ect asking if I was interested in call backs to save money ect

Caller said my 24 month service contract on washing machine had expired. When I informed him I didn't have one he said "so you won't want to renew" and hung up.

Missed call - Oddly enough, I am Greek and this is an international call.

On answer machine was a message about court action against me over an unpaid bill, see you in court I thought!
