Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

I was told he was not trying to sell me anything. It was the third stage in government scheme first wall insulation then loft and now grants for windows. It s a scam. Told them to sod off...but they still ring.

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.
