SCAM - when I answered the number, it quickly turned to music as if waiting in a queue (similar to waiting to talk to your drs). So I rang it back and it said “sorry this number doesn’t exist”! I had been called by 0161 818 4494 and by 0161 818 4493 it was same for both they do not exist. So I took the last number off changing it to 0161 818 449 when I rang it said the same, it doesn’t exist! I think this is a number used by a company who cold call trying to sell you something, that’s my thought on this.
SPAM- keeps calling my mobile but shuts off when I answer, nuisance caller.

Fraud. Said they were BT Openreach and I needed to log on to my computer and follow his instructions to improve internet speed. Asked him to tell me my BT account no, he just made up a string if numbers and I asked him the bill payers name he said it was the name of my town!

I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

A recorded message by fake computer woman purporting to be from UK HM Customs and Revenue for not paying my tax. Its a scam as I don't owe any tax. I PAYE and have a very simple life. UK revenue don't call anyone in this way. The speaker clearly did not know me nor my location. Slight American accent. I assume if had bothered to waste my time, that they would have wanted me to call a premium rate number to sort it out or to pay them online. DON'T pay anything, don't worry its FAKE.
