Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!

Charges of 64p are made to your mobile number for messages you receive and are listed on my 3 network bill as “Message Event”. I was charged for 3 messages at a cost of £1.94 which is a scam that lots of others will be suffering and accumulating hundreds if not thousands of £ for the scammers. B@^*@RDS

claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

When Link contact you they might ask you to give them a reference number which they have previously left on your answering machine. Call center Pertaining to be from Whoopsie.co.uk. Another boiler maintenance company. They actually seem to be a legitimate firm offering alternative boiler maintenance contract as insurance brokers.. However, I am already with British Gas and have no problems with them and also 7 month left on the contract. Rather pushy sales rep who insinuated I had wasted 20 minutes of her time. In that case, job done at this end I would say.
