I ve received two phone calls from the following number - 01427 610075 concerning the router on my computer. They had my personal details and confirmed my name and address. They said I would be entitled to a ?20 refund and the government was about to fine them if they didn t correct people s computers. When they started to talk about money I became suspicious. First of all they are phoning from a number that shows up as 01326, this is local to my area but there is no way on earth they are from here. It looks like a trick to get people to answer a local call. They claimed to be the "Pension department" when i pushed them on this they eventually gave a real company name, but i didn't understand the person on the phone properly but it was "???? financial services ".
