claiming to be from BT ringing to help fix our broadband (which is working fine). Told him I didn t believe he was from BT and he soon hung up. Clearly a scammer, watch out and NEVER give a cold caller access to your computer.

This number should be a landline from areas of Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and Hednesford - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... I just said "errr, no - I ve not been involved in an accident for a long while" and they hung up on me. Very untrustworthy - don t bother answering.
