I can see from other comments this is AO.com. I haven't ordered anything from them in the last few years, yet have recently started getting called by this number several times a day. Never leave a message and a couple of times when I have answered, there is nobody on the other end. Feeling harrassed, but don't want to block the number in case I do order from them again in the future.

Boilers on Benefits. DO NOT give any information to them. Just tell them TPS (nothing else) and hang up. Unfortunately they will have shared your number with other companies who make these nuisance calls. So be prepared to get even more if you answer this one. I have ansafone on 24/7 and seldom answer unknown numbers. But since this one is London and with the current emergency going on there with the fire, I answered in error. Scam call I believe.
Insurance business - ambulance chasers, probably recorded voice "Have you ever had an road traffic accident" or something similar, I ended the call. Seems to be the same call centre as 07722407332, 07722407970 - all the same range 077224079xx. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for bocking call centres). No problems.

This is the second call in as many days from what appears to be a valid UK phone number but is most likely a cold caller masking their own number/ID and falsely making the call look like it's a UK number. I rang back the 'UK' number that phoned us the day before and it was a private individual living in Worcestershire. Neither she nor her husband had made the call. The Call Guardian phone has been worth its weight in gold as it deters 99% of cold callers - those that announce their names are then blocked
