Claimed to be from BT and noticed speed of internet was low because of probable virus. If I started up my PC, they would sort it out. Asian accent with English name like Terence Granger. I asked for tel number and as quick as a flash he gave me the above number. Obvious scammer.

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?

I assume everybody has reported tbs to HMRC? [email protected] would probably appreciate a heads up, except of course the crooks will just switch numbers and are probably safely overseas somewhere.

Telemarketing. I think it was marketing but Matthew said he was from the Energy conservancy council. He talked about our loft insulation causing damp problems and he wanted to come and do a survey. He asked all sorts of questions about the loft, and home ownership.He said they were based in Oxfordshire. When I asked why it was a Canterbury number he waffled. I am not quite sure whether it was a scam or not but the number has rung before with no-one on the other end!

Call you endlessly offering you a new Website Design and they sound really good. Once they have taken your money do not expect to hear from them, they set up the email which is now not working and never answer emails/answer the phone so do not use them!!

After reading so many comments, this is definitely a SCAM. TestersKeep keep sending me messages at least two-three times a week. Today's one was strange however... I had bought some 'Charlotte Tilbury' makeup the other day, and this TestersKeep sent me a text today (two days later) saying: "Review and keep a Charlotte Tilbury makeup bundle worth $150, Tap below, www.myofrs.uk/lxu6axE/. *T&Cs. STOP to 07860020472". I've tried to block them, but there's no number attached to the sender, so it wont allow me to

Call centre, probably Indian, claimed to be from Virgin ringing to check my internet connection.

endless messages though I have blocked the number keep com ing as do high phone charges

they pretended they couldnt hear me and hung up as I questioned why they wanted my date of birth and where they were phoning from

Holiday share scheme

SCAM Automated message saying that they are BT and they’ve been trying to call so they’re going to disconnect. Not even with BT.
