Chap with an Asian accent (Indian, Pakistani possibly). Knew my full name which concerned me. Said he was calling from "Credit Investigation Department" and that his records show I was currently paying off debts in my name (false). Told him to politely bugger off and remove my number from whatever database he was using. Complained to TPS.

There is a post going round Facebook saying this number, purporting to be from Lloyds Bank Fraud division, is in fact scammers trying to get you to call them so they can get your private bank details from you. If in doubt, Google your bank's telephone number to get their fraud dept - don't rely on the telephone number in the letter. It may look legitimate, but it may not be.

I think this number is being used as a scam. I received an unsolicited call from a person with an Indian accent telling me my Microsoft computer account was jeopardized. I needed to log on and follow instructions. When I refused and put the phone down they called me back and told me all my accounts would be cancelled instantly. Calling me repeatedly a few times each day. Iv blocked them, Iv asked them never to call me again, Iv told them that they have the wrong number and that I don't drive. Iv pulled their leg and strung them along for fun to someone getting angry... Don't then the calls started coming through again every time I hung up they would call straight back.
