Umpteen calls asking if I am on a pension and if so I can get a free boiler if I am on benefits or a pension. When I asked why I was repeatedly called the caller just laughed at me and after a few seconds ended the call. You can t call back to complain to a Manager as the call won t connect. If true about the boilers, why are us workers funding boilers for people who don t work anyway?!!

Guy calls regularly, including public holidays! Sometimes hangs up when you say Hello; other times informs you he s conducting market research. I ve been advised by a friend who had similar calls that telling him his number has been flagged as a telepest, calls are being monitored and that unsolicited calls are subject to hefty fines gets rid of him pretty darn quick. Purportedly from Homeguard Direct, one of a number of south coast based companies claiming to block nuisance calls. In this call I was informed that I was due to pay ?124.99 as a final payment for their services. Whilst I agree that I have had dealings with the company in the past, I have no recollection/documentation of a fee for their services . I did not pass over any information regarding bank or credit card details. I was threatened with debt collectors.
