I received a call from this number, they said that they were a Vauxhall parts company. slightly coincidental as I had a call from a car accident company this morning!

now this number is used by some one stock broker...who is using to for investment things and like that.

If you get a call from this number, do not answer. Very dodgy and purporting to be calling to reviewing life insurance. Asks for personal details etc - no way.

The call has been placed from one of Repsol Sinopec s offshore installations. It is very unlikely to be for marketing purposes. More likely it is an offshore worker trying to call home.

yes, as per all the other comments, this is Addenbrookes appt automated reminder. Rang my home and mobile several times but of course, no message. I have been waiting for an appointment time and date to come through and GP has chased on several occasions. I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

First received call

Just received a call from these chimps at 12.08 pm lunchtime, it even had a picture of the person calling, what a nerve. I use Mr. Number and True Contact on my mobile, the best 2 apps that I ve installed on my mobile, they warn you that it s a spam number calling and if possible, the name, whereabouts and if possible, the nature of the call and if it s suspected spam, it will cut them off. Saves me giving them a few choice words too.
