Just had automated voice call - stating that my card was used on Amazon and somehwere else by someone for amount £xyz and If you didn't make this transaction PRESS 1. Yeah right! SCAMMER!!
called claiming to be from PC World/Currys, hung up when I stated they came through on a business line

Fraud SPAM SCAM tried to ring me 3 times but my call blocker flagged them up as unsafe so declined there calls but they rang back straight away again & again & again I know of nobody in or around the london area so this number has now been reported to my network as a scammer & blocked fully from ringing my mobile ever again!

We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. I have received phone calls from this number a few times so I called to tell them to stop calling. The call went to the answering machine message "your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and wait for the next available agent" - no mention of company name (always a rubbish sign), I waited 5 minutes and they disconnected.

Got a call from 07477139663 claiming to be HMRC and stated that a letter from them was not delivered and I will be persecuted unless I press 1 to speak to an agent... I am not convinced this is how HMRC operates so I hung up. Second time this has happened within the last week

Male with indian accent claiming to be from BT but I'm not with them for my Internet! I hung up. I often will not answer but it was showing a local dialing code. Is this a clever way to gain your confidence or was it genuine? I'm not willing to take the risk.
