SPAM - Got my number through a competition to win a photoshoot. Ever since I have been relentlessly called despite having changed my mind about wanting the shoot. I have blocked a number from them once before and have now had to block this one as well. Extremely annoying and frustrating.

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. Scam - number pretending to be HMRC with automated voice claiming unpaid tax is owed and you are due to appear in magistrate's court. Scam call, HMRC never call unexpectedly, and especially not from a mobile number!
I received 3 calls in a day. I Googled the number and saw this and other threads. The girl said she was called Sophie Joyce (surname given after I questioned her for it) and the company she was working for was Outspire Insource on behalf of EE. When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

I had 16 phone calls from this number (Clinic Compare, part of lasik-eyes) over the space of 5 days asking for me by name because I made an inquiry into laser eye surgery online. They are a waste of time as they want your details to match you with a laser eye clinic. As soon as I said I d already made appointments with other companies she virtually put the phone down on me.
