Sounded very authentic except that HMRC are unlikely to call anyone at 1030 on a Saturday morning! Would be very frightening for a vulnerable person. Clearly a scam
Said they were calling from the Ravine Centre to review my life insurance - knew my name!! When I said I didn't know what they were talking about, they said life insurance .... for the children .... I said I still didn't know what they were talking about and they said 'never mind then'. I asked them to send me an email and they said they only review over the phone so never mind.

When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable.
