I had a missed call from this Halifax number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently (01422718063 - reported here https://www.shouldianswer.co.uk/phone-number/01422718063 as PPI claims), probably the same marketing company? I received a call from this number saying that there is a lawsuit against my name and I needed to pay £1500+. I quickly asked him why not HRMC send my home a letter instead of a phone call (usually they send letters or emails). The person who was on the line was speaking in broken English (or acquired English accent). I do not yet know if that was a fake call, but asked him to send me a letter to my home with all the details.
