Phoned said my name then said its your bank we need to veryfi unusual activity on your bank account, give me your full name, address date of birth. I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.
Telemarketing STRONG Indian accent claiming to be from currys.co.uk offering 40% off handsets & plans. I simply said not interested & hung up. Totally out of the blue & I am on TPS, so shouldn't get ANY such calls. AVOID

Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back.
