Call Guardian blocked this caller. I returned the call on my mobile which was answered by "Calls UK" "customer services" (on a mobile number?!). Apparently we have a "policy" re: nuisance calls and we will be contacted again. I said we don t wish to be contacted again and, in fact, our "policy" is rubbish. She then hung up on me. Silent call - woken very early this morning by call from this number
My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. They estimate readings and send someone over to check for themselves. Southern Electric have made a note of this number. I advis
