I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.

This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.

When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. Asian woman calling claiming to be from BT Openreach, clearly calling from a call centre but this is a mobile number! When I queried if this call was genuine the woman kept saying I sould "improve my pronounciation", Told her I was unconvinced the call was genuine and hung up.

This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.
Can't say definitively but caller claimed to be from BT but did not have my account number or ask by name so I just told that that's a bit odd and hung up.
