Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181423xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with pensions, PPI, claims marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Guys did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Scammer - picks a common name (like Julie) and if you know one (as I do) they pretend Julie has a new number and tell you to delete the old number. Then they ask you to send the details i.e. names and numbers of everyone you both know - so they can be scammed (and they will as the scammers will then have names. Number gained through a solar inquiry 4 years ago. have now imformed them if company rings again I will invoice company ?100 plus VAT for each call they make to me.
