SCAM: Left voicemail, automated recording, claiming to be HMRC and that there is a law suit against me

A lady claiming she was from century finance saying my loan application had been accepted and I paid the 75 pounds to them then when paid they said money would be in by 2:20 this afternoon and was never in when I rang back to get my money back. And questioned them about this and said it was fraud they hung the phone up I have now lost my children's food money so upset. My four year old is disabled I'm so angry. Same company they phone from different numbers once they are blocked & they always phone twice a day at round about the same time!

Since having a minor accident 8 months ago, I've now had calls from over 30 different accident claims companies. Absolutely sick of them. They've got my home number, work number and mobile number. Relentless.

This was a missed call, so I called it back but just got the BT message "you've dialled an incorrect number" so it appears that at today's date, the number is not actually allocated and falsely used to hide the real number - Not sure how they do this and when are BT/Openreach going to stop this happening and clean up their system - the number displayed should be the actual number being used, ok, number blocking is another matter but should only be reserved for private numbers, going to gue

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported (01244470043, 44,45), all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly as PPI offers and pensions (financial services). I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. Peopl

Spam call saying internet compromised going to cut you off!! Don't do anything they ask they aren't even from BT
