Number was marked London - Girl called with a very strong Manchester accent. Didn’t speak at first. Asked her what the call was in regards too.. Apparently I have over paid on car finance? I asked her to remove my number - She stated something about being a liar - I asked what she had just called me to which she replied that she was speaking to her colleague - I replied that it wasn’t very professional. This random number calls me today 06/11/20 time; 12: 35hrs recording stating this is a call from the HMRC, you have been picked up on fraud attempt and need to press key1 on the phone or a arrest warrant will be taken against you! Woman with bad English reading from a script. Said she was from british gas and wanted us to give our postcode, account number and meter number. We said no and she said she would ring back. Obviously a dodgy call centre as other people have said other companies and reasons for the call! BLOCKED!!
unknown, no message left. When I called the number there was a number disconnected three beeps, so as I know no one from Reading and the number doesn t actually exist, I have blocked it!

Had a call from this number, the caller claimed to be from EMS. Promoting mobile websites. Very aggressive person and he slammed the phone down when I asked him to put the details on email.

Scam: sent me WhatsApp saying Hi then pretend they mistakenly contacted me. This person went on to attempt to befriend me, going as far as saying we can travel together and they will pay. Obviously the warm up for the scam to come.
Silent call. I answered the call, saying hello several times. Nobody answered, then the call disconnected. Number is supposedly from London area and there is no reason why anyone from there would phone me.

These people are scammers who target elderly vulnerable people. They cold called my mother who has dementia, despite her being registered with the TPS. They talked her into completely unnecessary cover for a washing machine for £225 pounds. This seems to be their MO as I have now seen it on numerous forums about them. This is now in the hands of her banks fraud team.
