Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

SCAM. FRAUD. Be very alert. When asked what CITY they are in, they said Merseyside in St Helens. I had no idea 0161 belongs to that area. Always thought it belongs to the Manchester District.

Of this really is th e region for this number and not a mobile number I am surprised. An Asian man, said from Sky and telling me my tv warranty was due for renewal. Just another scammer!!!!

Claimed to be from BT and talked about updating the cloud. Suspicious as we don't have anything cloud based with BT.

This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

I have just received the same call, saying they are working with Nominet. They told me all of the Nominet info about our domain, to make them seem legitimate, but obviously anyone can see this info. I refused to give any info at all, and at that point his tone changed and he said he will send an email confirming who they are. Still waiting for email!!!!!

Just had a call from 07477462680 from 'HMRC' threatening legal action and to press 1 to speak to an officer. Obviously a scam.

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. The woman calling from this number presents a very convincing, elaborate payment SCAM and claims to be a Lawyer in the United Kingdom, representing a "President of a large Italian company." The name or pseudonym used of the so called lawyer is Vikki McKay.

Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.
