Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Friendly, courteous and helpful; would have given 1 score but the chap was quite slick and so I thought again after call to check with websites like these to make sure that it was genuine!

Some random person with a Scottish Accent rang me on my phone number. I said Hello and repeated myself 3 times. I distinctly heard them say "Oh its ringing" when I picked up and then they said nothing. I am curious how this person got my number.
