Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Must have been taken back off the SPAM Callers Blacklist, as just had a call from 02038960132, on the Landline. Apparently, a recent survey has revealed that the insulation in our loft is illegal, and if we do not replace it, we will be fined by the Government. When asked how thesurvey was completed. Did they undertake breaking & entering, x-ray specs, or were beamed in by Scotty, he replied with 'Oh F*&$ Off you C*&$, I hope get cancer and die'!
Indian based scam callers who pretend to be from one of the phone companies and now have offers for you. I am completely covered in scam calls from India where the fact that my number is on a government do-not-call list is completely ignored. A valid phone company would not ignore the fact that my number is listed.

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.

Calls from this and associated numbers 02081443801 and 3803 have been persistent on my mobile since October 2022. They have recently become daily. They have of course long since been blocked. They are now a nuisance on my landline, blocked again. They need to be shut down.

This phone number is a scam, claiming to be Microsoft support. They may ask to remote onto your computer to "fix problems", and they may come up with an excuse to charge you for something, thus tricking you into handing over your card details.
