SCAM A man tried to tell me that my money was locked in the blockchain. I asked him to explain the blockchain to me and when I told him that he was wrong, he became aggressive. After doing a bit of digging, this is a Skype number and the caller is not in the UK at all.

These claim to be from HSBC PPI complaints. Not sure if this is a scam or not.
These people are scammers who target elderly vulnerable people. They cold called my mother who has dementia, despite her being registered with the TPS. They talked her into completely unnecessary cover for a washing machine for £225 pounds. This seems to be their MO as I have now seen it on numerous forums about them. This is now in the hands of her banks fraud team.

I can’t keep this GOOD service to myself They Traced and recovered all I invested and it’s amazing to know they are still good people out there .
This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.
Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.

Fraud Claim to be a company dealing with OVERPAID services such as gas and electric. Phone every week from various numbers all 020. Each time they try different approaches talking to you. They want to speak to the property owner and will give your postcode, address and that's it. Complete SPAM/SCAM nonsense call. BEWARE!
I have had previous run ins with this cold caller, i ask them to take me off their systems & they ignore this request. Today alone in four hours i have had EIGHTEEN calls from them. It s disgusting.

The caller alleged he was calling from O2, asked me how much I top up per month and got very aggressive when I wouldn t tell him and asked why he was calling. If this really is an O2 number, their level of professionalism is shocking.
Called my mobile 15:59hs 24 June 2020: automatic recorded voice announced (sic) "Her Majesty Revenue and Customs" which instantly caused me to terminate. this is VERY clearly a scam call as HMRC would NOT use the incorrect term for their own department!
