Received a call from this number appertaining to be from Amazon asking me to confirm/cancel a purchase of £99. When I said cancel she asked me what device i used so she could send me a cancellation form? I said i was away from my computer but she said she would wait on the line until I was in front of it. She quoted my correct address but I didn't feel happy so ended the call.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
SCAM Very bad line, lots of 'morse code' type sound in the background. Think he was asking about refunding for cryptocurrency. I offered to send him some mice as we are in the middle of a mouse plague. I don't think he was impressed as he hung up. Very thick Indian type accent.
SPAM - Apparently the National Debt Helpline No idea where they got my number from but knew my name and asked me if I needed help with consolidating debts. I hung up
