Man pretending to be Vodafone. Trying to steal my personal and financial info. Impressive technique, didn’t spot at first then his lack of knowledge of my basic customer profile and more aggressive questioning showed what was really happening.
Beware, this is a scam intending to defraud you of money. It was an automated message, informing me that gambling.com had taken £1,100.00 from my bank and Amazon had taken £300.00. I was supposed to press 1 to authorise the Amazon payment. I put the phone down.

Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. I have no idea how you made this a number from Russia, no idea what or who it is, just rings and hangs up, so blocked. DON'T EVER ring back, if they don't speak it's of no use to you, and is one of the ways to rip you off, because it registers as a live number and they docan sell your number onto other scam lists; and the number can get diverted to a premium number that will cost you serious money, search it before anything else, and report when it's bad.
