This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.
