Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. I've been receiving calls from UK numbers even though I live in Spain and have never lived in the UK. Every time I pick up the call they simply hung up, so now I simply decline the call and add the number to my black list.

They then said "I never asked you to change your contract", I then said, I will stop you there and just tell you I am not interested, he then responded repeatedly, "GO FCK YOURSELF". Needless to say I hung up!!!

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

A man called saying he was calling on behalf of O2, saying under O2 I was eligible for a reduced business contract. When I challenged him that he was not calling from O2 he then said he was calling from a company called YourMobile.com which 'works with an O2 platinum business partner' (Plan.com). I said he should know my contract with O2 if he was phoning on behalf of any area of O2 and then he hung up. This is a scam

Had a call from this number purporting to be an energy supplier. Hung up and then Googled the number and saw this site, as well as the site below on the search results from a news article stating to get a refund on a cancelled cruise to contact ABTA on this number. Something obviously isn't right with it, so blocked it and advise anyone else to do the same.
