Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! As others have said, this was a sms message from a delivery company.

They said they are from vodafone, I have asked them few questions to confirm if they really have access to my account and it s not legit, it s a scam people.

I have answered numerous calls to this company, despite telling them their information is incorrect they continue to harass!!!!!!!!!

Potential scam. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.
