Claimed was from Carphone warehouse, wasted 30 mins of their time let them know i knew it was a scam and they got extremely abusive.
i don t know how they got my number. They called from national survey, i told them i wasn t interested but they kept calling almost every day until i blocked it.

Just received a call from this number about online trading. When asked how they got my number, she said online banner ! Strange - I asked her to remove my details - she said that I would need to speak to someone in the company and would not give me the name of the company. Then hung up on me.
SCAM - felt like it would be a scam / fraud call as purporting to be HMRC and a warrant would be issued if I didn't press 1!

I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. Had a phone call originally from 01363773849 (devon) saying our broadband had been infected. This was followed an hour later by a call from 01273303183 telling me that that my online banking had been infected and they needed to talk me through changes to my computer
Called and hung up as soon as I answered. I am registered with the TPS so will be reporting them for breaching that.
