I got this 0808 1698369 from internet search because I was having problem with my Aol e mail and aol on longer provide telephone help line. But this co telephone provides help. So I called them. They asked for my e mail address which I stupidely give.They told me my computer and phone has been hacked in USA by 7 people and I need to purchase some security to block the hackers. Similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers or life insurance). For sure some general call centre with telemarketing offers. Did someone answer this one people? I received a call from this number saying that there is a lawsuit against my name and I needed to pay £1500+. I quickly asked him why not HRMC send my home a letter instead of a phone call (usually they send letters or emails). The person who was on the line was speaking in broken English (or acquired English accent). I do not yet know if that was a fake call, but asked him to send me a letter to my home with all the details.
