Got a call saying they were phoning regarding a collision I had in March 2012. I didn't even have a license then I told them and they hung. Dodgy - don't give any details

Indian man claiming to be from BT Openreach. He alleged that there was a problem with my internet connection and was trying to talk me into giving away personal/router/system details. Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.
