SCAM, claims to be from Amazon Prime asking for £95 to renew membership. I do not have or will ever have a Prime membership! Saw through it right away and reported it to Amazon who are ‘looking into it’!

SCAM Said it was HMRC. It was automated. It did njot state my tax payer reference number in the call either so do not believe it is genuine

SCAM... call from Robert Norris to my 83 year old father in law claiming to be from tsb fraud team and attempting to get access to his internet banking.

I was sent a suspicious link from this number. The number claimed to be “Apple”.

Amazing how I managed to guess they were Currys PC World. <rolleyes> Second call today, from different numbers... no doubt I'll get another one soon. Block, block, block!!!

Missed call when I called the number it was not recognised

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

Fraud Sent me a txt message claiming to be from the Halifax saying I had set up a direct debit to screwfix and to call this number if I had not done this. Put me on hold then a chap with a foreign accent asked me for details, I said I will double check with my online banking and he hung up. Scam

Banking Scam

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

SCAM: Overseas call centre (possibly India/Pakistan) pretending to be Virgin Media called asking me to install AnyDesk.com software to help me &quot;fix internet problems&quot;, got very abusive when they realised they'd been wasting their time as I knew instantly it was a scam and kept them on the phone for a while
