I have been called on a few occasions from RB but fortunately, until now I have been out and my answering machine off. This morning, I received a robust call from an elderly-sounding gentleman wanting to tell me all about the Red Button. SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. This is an absolute scam, do NOT call or press 1.
Scam call saying that my BT internet contract will expire today unless I press 1 to renew. I don't have a BT internet contract.
Apprently work with all the leading pension and insurance companies. Want your details...

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
