01273004401 called my landline today 15/05/23 at 17:59 hrs. Picked up the call and a male voice said "Goodby". Not calling it back as number not known to me. Possible SCAMMERS. Have recorded the number and deleted it from my landline. Classed as "ANNOYING"

Polite male caller asked her to confirm her name and address which he told her and she did. Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
