It reported to be from Santander fraud department, asking to reply y or n to a text about an attempted purchase at Argos. Blocked the number and reported it as SPAM.

This number claimed to be from Apple and sent a malicious link within the message. The link was a .com domain and was Apple.info-30. Do not click on the link if you have been sent this. Stay safe all.

Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. A funny voice asked me to wait until the next HMRC agents would be available. Fraud - claiming to be FedEx with regards to a delivery that was attempted twice. Recorded message in English and Chinese, with a female voice and a quite aggressive manner. It had all the signs of a scam.

Female asked politely how I was then what handset I had. Said I do not want contact and told her she is breach of Telephone Preference and Information Commissioner. She hung up. I expect many more fraudulent calls now!

Answered, the chap had a thick russian accent and they asked me if i spoke Russian, when i said no they hung up
