SCAM Further to my earlier review I managed to get the operator to give up on me by pretending to be deaf and unable to understand his heavy India accent (not entirely untrue on either count). Kept asking him to repeat all the questions and spell out everything: first his name, then the name of the company etc in a voice that makes me sound older than I am. After 2or 3 minutes he gave up.

024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)
Michael from Curry's PC World, telling me about a wonderful limited time deal. DIdn't let him go any further asked how he got my number as I'm not a customer and haven't requested any telemarking calls. He said my network provider had given it to them and named them. Threw me a bit as it was my provider. I asked if he had my name then, he said he didn't know it, so they obviously have obtained a list from somewhere. I hung up at that point.

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. They are looking for me to "activate my account and upload £200 on a debit/credit card".
SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.
