It was an international scam call via a mobile number.
The person appeared to be from a debt management company. He knew my name. I told him that I do not require his services and that this a spam call.

+44 7511 972959 is being used by a Pakistani National Shehryar Shah Bukhari who is running scam online with the names of SecondOpinion (medical consultancy) ans eCommerce AceAapi. Also using same number on whatsapp business and on twitter @RealShehryar to lure people into investing money. Very dangerous person. Stay away to keep safe.

Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.

Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HSBC fraud to check a couple of suspicious transactions and knew the area I was located in. They didn't ask for any secure information but when I called HSBC directly, they had no record of either the call or the transactions on my account.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
