SCAM or similar. Have called us over the last 3 years asking for someone who has never lived at this address! Recently just been putting phone down when we answer.
They called me today and asked for me by my first name to sell me a life insurance policy. When I asked them where did you get my contact details, they answered that it was from their search engine as I expressed my interest in such a policy in the past. I challenged them that I did t supply my information to be called for a life insurance product then she asked me if I have a family and how old I am. I declined to answer and then ended the call.

SCAM / SPAM Called me using a computer generated voice claiming to be from the HMRC. Claimed there was tax fraud in my name. Said if I didn't press 1 immediately to speak to someone an arrest warrant would be issued in my name. At this point I burst out laughing and cut the call!

Steve is correct, it is Bauer Media. If you ve entered your number online somewhere for a free magazine (I d asked for Marie Claire / Instyle) then they re calling for your address. Theyll also offer you 3 issues for £1.00. Spoke to a lovely lady and she asked if I wanted future calls for offers and so I said no. It s all legit. However, they need to work on their employees... I had another call minutes later from a guy there who was on the phone to someone else!!

Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account.
