I only use this number for comparethemarket, that's where he has got it from. I would say it's British Gas database as that's what I was looking to change to. This number 01730267591 was used to make an automated call to my land line. The call claimed to be from BT saying that they were going to cut off my internet that day (05/11/2018). It asked me to press 1 to keep my internet service. As I am not a BT customer and have had similar calls before I put the phone down but I am concerned that other people could be scammed.
