Supposedly from a Medical Alert company saying I may be eligible for a medicalert bracelet. He claimed they were based in Dorset and supplied all over the UK. When asked who he wanted to speak to he wasn't very forthcoming. After me asked a second time who he wanted to speak to, he hung up.
SCAM O2 scam. Don't give them any details. If you receive two text messages while they are on the call just delete them. Don't give them the number contained in the second message.
SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.
SPAM Has rang me 6 time in 3 hours. I answer, after a few seconds it connects to a busy sounding environment then they hang up. On the 6th call they said it was Sky calling and then they hung up immediately. Irksome!

SCAM! I am always wary when someone with a very obvious Indian accent called Alena tells me she is contacting me about my computer! I laugh and put the phone down.
Call center Was a very persistent man who spoke so quickly I couldn't understan who he said he worked for (even after I asked him to repeat himself more slowly ) saying he could save me money on my phone mobile phone and constantly asked how much I was paying. Told him I wasn't interested and he continued to ask the same thing. Not told him if I wanted to do something about my phone and bills I would so so myself and he still continued. I eventually hung up on him when he was still asking for how much.
