SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

Suspect this is a spam call. Message left on answerphone was generic in that no person was identified. Stated that two sums of money taken from my account - no mention which account. The information was false. Wanted me to make contact with them.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. I didn't know anyone on Manchester so I just let the phone ring without answering. No message was left so I'm guessing it was a spam caller. Have since blocked it.

Same as below received emailed ebay order confirmation which states 'call us on + 20 7665 0123 to report this to our fraud protection team'. Just recently used ebay for first time in years so very suspect and definately not a genuine order. Report direct to ebay direct, not on number provided in invoice, from the online site and Actionfraud website.
