A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. Had a call from this number saying she was from ee offering 45% off told her I was with o2. 3 minutes later the same woman rings on a different number with the exact same pitch but said she was from o2.

SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. "Max" tel.no. 01292388212 called my house phone and asked for me by surname. I didn't confirm. He then told me that I didn't have cover for central heating. I said I have his number and will check with the fraud squad before following up. I then politely hung up. Maybe a legitimate cold call; but I wasn't interested to find out.
