I hung up, I'm not even with BT, but nice try morons! Called the number back and its non existent. No search on Google brings anything up for it either. Robotic recording asking about the accident I've had - I've not had an accident. Appears to originate in Birmingham? I didn't answer and had to block this number. This despite me having the phone registered to the TPS.
Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

Because I like to play with these people I answered from questions - e.g. yes I'd had an accident, but didn't remember anything about it. After a short while I was transferred to a real person, who I simply didn't say anything until they hungup on me. How are these people allowed to operate these phishing / scamming services?
