I was called by this number today. What sounded like an automated voice stated "We have been advised that you have been in an accident which was not your fault. Can you confirm this?" When I asked who had advised them, the voice stated "OK we will remove you from our database". I am registered with TPS and find this annoying. It appears that I am not alone with many recent comments about this number so hopefully something can be done.

This number has rang me sayin they are Natwest fraud team but had my name wrong and on correction they stuttered and hung up. Said they were a google partner specifically tasked to contact companies direct, as Google were too busy on big contracts with the likes of Coca Cola about our Ad Campaign!! When I said I would like to verify this with Google direct, the caller then said that she was actually an ad research company and had stumbled across our google ad.
I called back this number and a Indian male INSTANTLY picked up. He knew my name. You could hear another 100 or so people in the background. He claimed I was 1 of 3 finalists in a competition. When I asked the name of the website the competition was on he said "Amaz-and-oes". Hung up at this point.

Claiming that you are entitled to a £1500 refund per person on an all inclusive holiday from ABTA due to levels of cleanliness being below the standard required. They didn't know who I booked through or where I went. Clear case of a scam. No-one who can't verify these poor conditions would be entitled to a refund, let alone one that was for more than the cost of the holiday.
