I just had fun with 2 of these calls. Call 1: I pretended to be deaf and to mishear everything the caller said... who eventually disconnected! Call 2: when asked "and how are you today?" I responded by giving them a detailed litany of all my ailments, in my case all invented! I would not let the caller get a word in and I terminated the call by thanking them for calling about my health but I have to go now to have my piles looked at by the nurse and I did not want to miss my appointment. Try it...it is real

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Called by one of our colonial cousins who introduced himself as "Alex Smith". He said he was representing "Windows" and I asked him if he was selling replacement windows. That threw him and he mumbled "no, computer windows". I asked him if he was with Microsoft and he stalled. Alex Smith? more like Devinda Gupta. What an arse-wipe.
