Safe number Banking I contacted Barclays Help/Customer Service to confirm if this SMS text message was from them and they confirmed it was, I was sceptical, as the others were that posted their comments that this was a genuine text from them.
Automated mail saying there had been charges to my bank card. Checked online banking and can't see anything. Will obviously monitor my account but my bank would have called me from a corporate number surely!

It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. This. Number called me at 10.45 am. I do not answer numbers I don't know, so I rejected it. Apparently it was from Coventry and I know nobody in that area. Immediately a call came through from a number which apparently was from Cardiff. I rejected that too. Straight away a third number but I haven't even bothered to find out where that was from. These scammers or whatever they are buy up blocks of numbers and register them to different areas in the hope of fooling someone. I NEVER answer strange number

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer.
