Sounds rather similar to reports regarding other numbers in the 012027947xx range. Two calls over the Bank Holiday weekend. Fraud Foreign sounding male, called me ma'aam or madam. told me he had phoned from BT openreach as my internet speed was down and I had problems with my router. At that point I called him a scammer as I don't have BT. His tone changed and he uttered a series of foul words and called me names. Told me he would rape me and give me a little baby. The area code comes up as telford but I don't believe that is correct. It is also an area in India. I wish there weren't such evil people in the world

The number is an Aldershot number. Called and spoke to my young son asking for a Mr Rogers. Rang again the following morning. He was a polite enough guy but he wouldn t tell me anything. Quite obvious it was a debt collection agency. I asked him why he was still ringing when he was told the previous day there was no-one of that name against my home number and actually I had my number for over 11 years. He told me he was going to remove my number from his list. Very apologetic. We ll see......
